With the Parkerpower Match Process we establish a network of candidates often NOT actively seeking a new opportunity and through our in-depth personal interview process and screening, we able to MATCH the perfect candidate who fits YOUR specific needs.
We specialize and have expertise in the following contract staffing options:
Contract-to-Hire “Try Before You Buy”
We are sure that you have experienced hires you’ve made who did not perform or fit as expected once they became employees. The Contract-to-Hire option is a chance for you to “TRY BEFORE YOU BUY” with an employee who is NOT currently employed allowing an opportunity for you to “observe them in action” during the contract period.
The Contract-to-Hire option offers an opportunity for the candidate and the company to assess whether it is a right fit prior to the company offering the candidate full-time employment with no obligation to either party during that period. Typically the contract period average is 3 months (90 days) where the candidate is paid the same hourly wage as if they were a permanent employee and Parkerpower bills the client the candidates’ hourly rate plus an agreed upon mark-up during the contract time. When/if the client would like to hire the candidate permanently, our direct-hire placement fee is reduced by 10% or as negotiated up front between Parkerpower and its’ clients.
Benefits to our clients include the following:
- Satisfaction guaranteed
- Decreases bad hiring decisions
- Increased productivity
- Reduces your expenses
- Reduces your liability
Contract Staffing
Contract staffing is a great option when clients would like to hire skilled and experienced contingent staff to cover FMLA, Vacation, Maternity Leave, and Project work. By hiring contractors you will alleviate the need to add a full-time person to your payroll and allows you to quickly hire qualified resources to jump in and get the job done! Assignments can range from a minimum of 20 days to as long as you have the need. Hourly rates paid to contractors depend on the skills and background you are seeking and the market rates for candidates in those categories. Parkerpower works with you to determine your budget, salary levels of comparable full-time employees and a negotiated mark-up on top of the candidate’s pay rate. We are very flexible and knowledgeable and will customize to your needs.
Benefits to our clients include the following:
- No additional payroll overhead
- The use of Top Talent for project work
- No workers’ compensation or unemployment costs
- Lower or non-existent overtime costs
- Faster completion of special projects
- Your full-time employees are happier because you are utilizing the contractor to complete the work rather than overloading their current workload
